Paint protection film (PPF) is a clear, self-healing urethane film applied to your vehicle's painted surfaces. It acts as an invisible shield against stone chips, scratches, bug splatter, bird droppings and UV damage. Originally developed for military applications, modern PPF is virtually invisible and maintains your car's original appearance.
PPF provides the strongest physical protection available for your paintwork. Self-healing technology means minor scratches disappear with heat. It does not alter your car's colour or gloss. It preserves resale value by keeping factory paint in perfect condition. And it is removable without damaging the underlying paint.
PPF has a higher upfront cost than other protection methods. It requires professional installation for a quality result. Over time, some films may yellow if low-quality products are used. And it only protects the surfaces it covers — full-body coverage increases the cost significantly.
For new and luxury vehicles, PPF is almost always worth it. The cost of repainting a bonnet or bumper due to stone chips far exceeds the cost of PPF. For daily drivers on highways or gravel roads, PPF on high-impact areas provides excellent cost-effective protection.
We recommend PPF for high-impact areas as a minimum — bonnet, front bumper, side mirrors and door edges. For maximum protection, combine PPF with ceramic coating: PPF for physical protection and ceramic coating for chemical resistance and easy maintenance.
